George Vitense Golfland, located conveniently at Whitney Way & West Beltline Highway in the heart of the west side of Madison, Wisconsin, was founded in 1955 by George Vitense, who had a vision of developing a multifaceted, affordable, day & night family golf environment.

Although George Vitense died in 1988, his grandson, Joel Weitz, President & PGA Professional of Vitense Golfland and past president of the Wisconsin PGA, continues the family vision of high quality, affordable, family recreation & golf.

The NEW Vitense Golfland facility includes a Top 100 Rated Golf Range in America open all year, the first lighted Par 3 Golf Course in the State of Wisconsin and the only lighted golf course in the area, (3) #1 rated miniature golf courses in Dane County (the new INDOOR Madison Landmark 18 hole miniature golf course, as well as the Original California & Wisconsin miniature golf courses outside), 8 state of the art baseball and softball batting cages, a 24' five station climbing wall, HiBall, Water Wars, remote controlled boats & an arcade. All activities are available at night and many are available year-round!

Vitense Golfland is also able to offer high quality year round golf instruction through a variety of lesson programs and leagues from the instruction staff of the George Vitense Golf Academy.
